Antique Watch Chain with Chunky Turquoise Drops

At some point in the 20th century this antique 14k yellow gold watch chain was customized with statement-sized natural turquoise pendant drops. The rich color and chunky organic shapes of the stones are an interesting juxtaposition to the golden curb links with their smooth shiny surface and solid construction.

Details: The chain has a length of approximately 17" long including clasps and 2.85 mm wide. The drops are slightly graduated in size with the smallest bead measuring approximately 1" long, and the largest 1 3/8", both measurements include the gold bail. The chain includes the original bolt ring clasp on one end and watch clip clasp on the other. XRF tested to 14k. Total weight 61.2 grams.

We believe the turquoise are American mined.

Condition: The chain and drops are both in excellent condition, the round bolt ring clasp functions as the attachment clasp, the watch clip has been soldered shut.
