Vintage Orange Blossom Band
It's hard to find these vintage floral wedding bands in larger sizes, and this one has a nice width and weight to it as well. Circa 1940, crafted in 14k yellow gold chased with an eternity motif of orange blossoms alternating with a stylized ribbon design
A perfect choice for a wedding ring, it also plays well with other pieces in a curated ring stack collection.
Details: Measuring approximately 3 mm wide and 1.6 mm thick. Marked inside the band for 14k, weighs approximately 3.5 grams.
Size: Size 9 1/4 and not resizable.
Condition: In excellent condition with some softening of the details and a light patina speaking to its dignified age.
History: Throughout history and across cultures, orange blossom flowers have symbolized purity, innocence, chastity and fertility. Queen Victoria's preference of them for her wedding wreath assured their position as "The" bridal flower throughout the rest of the 19th century, and still today it's considered the classically romantic choice.
