Victorian Diamond Snake Ring
A gleaming antique Victorian ring designed as two serpents coiled together, their heads set with antique mine-cut diamonds. Crafted in 10k rose gold with a lovely warm glow and gentle antique patina, it's perfect as an alternative engagement ring: solidly made and easily ready for another 100 years worth of adventures.
To paraphrase over a millennia of meaning the snake symbolizes eternal love and faithfulness, healing, fertility, wisdom and even immortality, while the diamonds underline it all, adding their own note of faithfulness and integrity.
Details: Measuring approximately 3/4" north to south at the center front and 4.42 mm at the center back of the band. The natural old mine-cut diamonds are estimated .26 ctw, SI-2, G/H. Not marked for metal content but XRF tests to 10k. Weighs approximately 4.7 grams.
