I really love antique Victorian pavé turquoise, and this crescent brooch is set with the most beautiful natural bright blue stones. The large size makes it an even better statement.
Perfect for accenting scarves, hats and lapels.
Details: The brooch measures approximately 3", tests to around 900 silver, with a gilt backing (intended to prevent tarnish rubbing off when worn). The hinge and C-clasp are in strong working order, though they are early 20th century replacements from the original.
Condition: In excellent condition with a rich patina and some visible natural matrix on the turquoise, but no significant scratches or cracks. The tube hinge and C-clasp are in strong working order.
