A sturdy Victorian miniature compass pendant necklace, the compass originally meant to hang from a 19th century gentleman's watch chain as a decorative novelty fob. With the original glass covers on both sides and an excellent sense of direction, crafted in rosy-tinted yellow gold-fill.
Details: Measuring approximately 1 1/4" long, not including the large jump ring bail, and 1" wide. The antique gold filled chain with clip clasp is 28" long, meant to slip over the head without opening.
Condition: In excellent condition overall, with a gentle antique patina, some light wear to the surface, and slight oxidization inside the compass compartment. The compass itself appears to be in working order and successful in finding direction.
