A lovely late-19th century Victorian gold charm with an enameled bird & flower motif. The bird is rendered in vibrant shades of blue, red, and yellow, while the scattering of flowers around the little guy complements his plummage perfectly with rich primary colors.
Details: Possibly originally a collar button, it came to us in its present form. Measuring approximately 3/4" in diameter, the charm has a slightly concave or dished shape, not marked for gold content but XRF tests to 14k. Weighs approximately 1.5 grams.
Condition: In excellent condition with a gentle antique patina.
