Opal Mini Bead & Baroque Pearl Necklace

We love opal beads for their incredible color play and rich luminescence, but they do require a little more care than many other types of beads. This strand is made of lab-grown opal, synthetic but chemically the same as their natural inspiration; meaning they are far less susceptible to damage, so you can wear this necklace everyday without worry as to the effects of water, heat or extreme cold.

We mixed the opals with a section of natural baroque pearls, shimmering with their own brand of iridescence, knotted on fuschia silk and finished the necklace with a secure antique bolt ring clasp.

Details: The opals measure approximately 2.8 mm, the pearls about 6-7 mm, with a 15 3/4" necklace length.

Care note: The opals will not fade or discolor with normal wear, or exposure to water, lotion or perspiration. They'll take a lot of abuse in stride, just don't hit them with a hammer.
