Champagne Old Mine Cut Diamond Stirrup Ring in 18k

I fell in love with this unique .69 ct old mine-cut diamond with its sparkling champagne tint and elongated cushion-shape, cut at some point in the 19th century, so we crafted a sleek 18k yellow gold mounting for it, with a brushed matte finish and shape traditionally referred to as a "stirrup" mounting. 

The "stirrup" style, was poplar in the 12th through 14th centuries with a resurgence in the late 19th. The glowing surface of the gold is a perfect foil for the prismatic glitter of the diamond; it's a classic statement and very comfortable on the finger, perfect for everyday wear. 

Details: Measuring approximately 1/4" north to south, tapering gradually through to a 2.68 mm band at the center back of the ring. Weighs approximately 6 grams. Cast in solid recycled 18k yellow gold.
