Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring

$990.00

The fiery old mine-cut diamond in this circa 1900 solitaire ring has the warm prismatic sparkle we love about antique diamonds. Crafted in 14k yellow gold the delicate buttercup setting holds the stone at just the right height to show off its flash, flanked by a sweet floral design on the shoulders.

Not only April's birthstone and a classic engagement favorite, diamonds are also a traditional reference to fidelity, constancy, power and strength, among other things. During the Middle Ages, it was believed that a diamond would grow darker in the face of guilt and shone most brightly for the innocent and pure of heart.
