A beautifully detailed mid 20th-century wedding band crafted in 14k yellow gold chased with an eternity motif of orange blossoms alternating with a stylized ribbon design, dated 1951 in the inscription. A lovely textural addition to your daily ring stack.

Details: Measuring approximately 2.58 mm wide and 1.09 mm thick. Size 8 and not resizable. Engraved inside "E.C. to E.L. 2-2-51" Marked inside for 14k, weighs approximately 1.8 grams.

Condition: In excellent condition with a light patina and minimal softening of the details.

History: Throughout history and across cultures, orange blossom flowers have symbolized purity, innocence, chastity and fertility. Queen Victoria's preference of them for her wedding wreath assured their position as "The" bridal flower throughout the rest of the 19th century, and still today it's considered the classically romantic choice.
