Vintage Diamond & Sapphire Flush Mount Ring in 18k

A chunky vintage three stone flush-mount ring featuring a genuine twilight blue oval sapphire flanked by twin brilliant-cut diamonds in 18k yellow gold. This classic style would make an interesting choice as an engagement or wedding ring; it's comfortable on the finger and suitable for everyday wear. 

The traditional meaning behind the gemstones makes it appropriate for a love token as well; according to gemlore, sapphire is considered a symbol of honest affection and integrity, while the diamond refers to eternity and faithfulness.

Details: The smooth surface of the mounting is a perfect foil for the sparkling stones; sapphire approximately .70-.75 ct., diamonds approximately .30-.36 ctw. Measuring approximately 7/16" north to south, tapering gradually through to a 4 mm band at the center back of the ring. Marked 750 (18k) on the inside of the band, possibly indicating European manufacture. Weighs approximately 6.8 grams.

Condition: In excellent condition with a mellow vintage patina and very subtle wear to the top of the sapphire, visible with a jeweler's loupe.
