Circa 1920, an antique pendant crafted in 14k gold featuring a beautifully carved lapis lazuli plaque, in a richly enameled frame of green, yellow and black.
The design is reminiscent of William Morris, with its stylized floral and acanthus leaf motif combining both Art Deco and the Arts & Crafts aesthetic.
DETAILS: Measuring approximately 2" long, including the bail and jump ring, and 1" wide. Hung from an antique-style 18" 14k crimp link chain with a secure lobster clasp. Not marked for gold content but professionally tetst to 14k. The chain is marked 14k. Total necklace weight approximately 8.6 grams.
