Antique English Enamel Snooker Medal
A charming circa 1910 antique sports medal crafted in 9k rose gold, with the enameled figure of a snooker player poised to take his shot. The winning player's details are engraved on the back: "C.I.B.L. winners 1910-11, R. Jones"
Snooker is an English game, similar to pool or billiards but with a slightly larger table and using red balls as opposed to multi-color. One of the major differences between billiards and snooker is the lack of pockets on a billiards table.
Details: Measuring 1 3/8" high including the bail, and 1" wide, With hallmarks indicating it's 9K, made in Birmingham, UK and letter dated for 1910. Approximately 4.8 grams.
Condition: In excellent condition. There's a lovely soft patina with light age-appropriate wear and some very light rubbing to the edges of the enamel.
