Circa 1920, an elegant round pendant that beautifully showcases a gorgeous specimen of irridescent green butterfly wing under glass on one side, the other side shows a tiny white summer butterfly against a Morpho wing backround. The 14k frame has a delicately beaded edge which adds a lovely bit of gleaming texture to these little bits of Nature's earthy magic.
Details: Measuring approximately 15/16" in diameter, the bail is marked for 14k. Hung from a fine 20" gold-filled cable chain. Total necklace weight approximately 6.4 grams.
Condition: In excellent antique condition with a gentle patina to the frame and some light dust under the glass. Very minimal wear to the surface of the glass.
