Victorian Engraved Rose Gold Band dated 1887

$1,175.00

An 1880s Victorian band crafted in warm 14k rose gold, chased completely around the exterior with a lush scroll pattern; the rounded dome profile is similar to the modern donut or comfort style, with an interior dedication dating it to 1887.

Imagine beginning your life together as a couple in 1887, there were so many exciting developments that year: the first Groundhog Day was observed, construction of the Statue of Liberty began, and the first Sherlock Holmes mystery was published. Still to come in the next few years: zippers, escalators, radios and movie cameras.

What a time to be alive!
