WWII Era Womens Army Corps Signet

A vintage U.S. Women's Army Corps signet ring, circa 1940, crafted in 14k yellow gold with a sterling silver insignia. The serial number on the back indicates the original owner was an enlisted nurse.

Time and service have softened the details a bit, while the silver device has acquired a rich patina that gives it a striking contrast against the gold.

DETAILS: Measures approximately 1/2" north to south at the center front, tapering to 2.64 mm at the center back. Approximately 5.6 gram total weight. Marked 14k on the inside of the face, under the engraved serial number.
