Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring
The fiery old mine-cut diamond in this Victorian solitaire ring has the warm bright sparkle and hue of old fashioned ginger beer. Crafted in 14k honey-yellow gold the delicate belcher setting holds the stone at just the right height for maximum glitter, flanked by an intricate scroll design on the shoulders.
Not only April's birthstone and a classic engagement favorite, diamonds are also a traditional reference to fidelity, constancy, power and strength, among other things. During the Middle Ages, it was believed that a diamond would grow darker in the face of guilt and shone most brightly for the innocent and pure of heart.
