'Nemo Nisi Mors' Memento Mori Skull Ring

We designed our 14k Memento Mori skull band after antique pieces in our personal collection, engraving around the outside of the band the Latin quote "Nemo Nisi Mors" which translates to "None except death," meaning nothing except death could part the lovers to whom the phrase refers.

The ultimate love token statement, suitable for both male and female hand; a truly unique choice as an alternative wedding band.

The skull itself is molded from an antique form, slightly rustic in his design, and set with either rustic or black rose-cut diamond eyes for a knowing gleam. Make your stone choice with the drop down menu.

DETAILS: These are made to order in sizes 5-10; each one will be slightly different as evidence of its hand-crafted nature. Turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. Measures approximately 9.92 mm or about 3/8" north to south at the center front, the band is a consistent 3.55 mm all around, and approximately 1.45 mm thick. Cast in recycled 14k yellow gold and patinaed in a special formula to bring out the details. 

History: "Memento mori" or "remember that you must die" has been a classic artistic theme since ancient Rome. It's not meant so much as a macabre statement asserting the inescapability of death but more as a spiritual reminder that life must be lived to the best of all intentions, as death is indeed inevitable.
