Vintage Enamel Pansy Brooch

The sweetest vintage pansy brooch, circa 1940 crafted in 14k yellow gold with velvety blue and white enamel and delicately realistic details; a creamy cultured pearl accents the center, it's soft glow a perfect complement to the vivid color of the petals.

In the language of flowers the pansy means " Think of Me" and the little blossoms have been a favorite love token motif for jewelry since the early 19th century. This would be a lovely touch on a summer bride, or a thoughtful gift for someone who holds a special place in your heart.

Details: Measuring approximately 1 1/8" north to south and east to west. The hinge and safety clasp are in strong working order.  Marked for 14k. Weighs approximately 9.9 grams.

Condition: In excellent condition with very minimal wear to the enamel along the edges of the petals (please see photos).
