Victorian Lover's Hand Brooch
I love jewelry wearing jewelry: this Victorian brooch features a graceful golden hand tenderly holding a pearl & diamond flower while stylishly clad in a navette ring and curb bracelet with heart-shaped padlock, both of which have rose-cut diamond accents. The attention to detail even extends to the delicate lace texture carved into the flounced sleeve.
Details: Measuring approximately 1 1/2" long by about 5/8" wide. The hinge and clasp are both in strong working order. Marked on the back for English manufacture in Chester, "625" which is the UK hallmark for 15k, and letter dated for 1898. The pin stem is steel. Weighs approximately 3.3 grams
Condition: In excellent condition with a light patina and some light wear to the surface. There is a small spot of soft solder on the back, not visible when worn.
