Victorian Natural Citrine Cluster Pendant
A mid-19th century Victorian pendant designed as a flower cluster of richly saturated natural citrine, the stones set in sterling silver cut-down collets. Originally a Scottish brooch, redesigned by us as a pendant to better showcase these extraordinarily sparkly gemstones.
Details: The pendant measures approximately 1 1/2" in diameter, the stones are hand-cut with open cutlets, eye clean with phenominal sparkle and even saturation. The antique sterling cable chain is 17" long, fitted with a modern lobster clasp.
Condition: In excellent condition with a rich patina to the metal and subtle abrasion to the some of the stones, visible with a jeweler's loupe.
History: For centuries citrine has been used as a talisman for happiness, joy and to ensure smooth communication in relationships. It's a positive energy stone, believed to encourage success both financially and emotionally. The traditional gemlore and the lush design make this a wonderful statement for someone who celebrates a positive outlook on life's adventures.
