Antique Enamel & Diamond Crab Pendant
A realistically detailed antique crab pendant circa 1900, originally a watch pin converted at some point in the last 120 years. Crafted in 14k yellow gold, his shell enameled a rich velvety green, he clutches his prize in one claw: a sparkling old mine-cut diamond estimated .08 ct, SI-2, G/H.
A unique zodiac representation for the one on your list who falls under the sign of Cancer the Crab.
Details: Measuring approximately 1 1/4" north to south and 1 1/16" east to west. Not marked for gold content but XRF tests to 14k, weighs approximately 6.7 grams.
Condition: In excellent condition with minimal wear to the enamel, two spots of gold showing through on the black enamel eyes may be intentional. There are some light marks and differences in patina on the back, evidence of the original pin findings.
