Antique Rose Cut Diamond Ring

An early 20th-century ring featuring three glittering rose-cut diamonds set across the stepped front which is crafted in sterling silver mounted to a 14k rosy-yellow gold band. The stones are natural and well-matched for clarity and color; I love the way the light dances across their delicate triangular facets creating a sparkling display tinged with flashes of the rainbow. 

Details: The curved face with it's filigree gallery makes it very comfortable on the finger. Measuring approximately 3/8" north to south at the center front, and 1.56 mm at the center back of the band. When they are mounted it's difficult to accurately determine the carat weight of rose-cut diamonds, but these are estimated at .30-.35 ctw. eye-clean and G/H color. Not marked for gold content but XRF tests to 14k and sterling silver.
