Freshwater Pearls Lover's Hand Necklace

We've hand-knotted 11 mm freshwater pearls on pink silk, and finished the strand with antique sterling silver curb chain that has an ornate chased scroll pattern on one side, ending in an antique heart shaped padlock. Our own lover's hand clasp, cast in solid sterling silver, can be used to close the necklace on any link of the chain.

I love the subtle iridescence of the pearls, shimmering pink and aqua blue tones that shift across their surface as light catches the strand.

Details: Measuring a total of 24" long from clasp to last link of the chain, with the padlock measuring 1" by 3/4". The chain section is 7 3/4" long, the clasp measures 1 5/8" long. The padlock does not open, it is fixed shut and has an engraved monogram "L.E.L." on the back. Chain, clasp and padlock are sterling silver.

Condition: The antique components (chain and padlock) are in excellent condition, with a rich patina. The padlock is fixed shut, it does not open.
