Vintage Orange Blossom & Ivy Leaf Band

I love the details of this circa 1950 wedding band, crafted in solid 14k yellow gold referencing the centuries-old language of flowers with its articulated ivy and orange blossom motif.

Originally meant as a wedding ring, it would be perfect worn in a stack with other interesting bands or on its own as a solo statement.

Details: Measures approximately 4.8 mm wide and 1.55 mm thick. Marked for 14k and weighs approximately 4.1 grams.

Size: 6 3/4 and not resizable.

Condition: In excellent condition with a warm glow and smooth silky feel. 

History: The ivy leaf has been used for centuries to represent the ideals of fidelity, marriage, friendship and affection; its meaning is underlined by the eternity style of the ring, unbroken and endless. The use of orange blossoms as a bridal flower goes back at least a thousand years, when it was regarded as an omen of prosperity, symbolic of innocence and chastity.
