Victorian Pools of Light Locket

A late 19th century "pools of light" locket crafted with a 12k honey-yellow gold frame for the two rock crystal cabochons that comprise the sides. Photos that are viewed inside will appear slightly magnified; quartz works as a magnifyer when cut and polished in a cabochon dome.
Details: Measuring approximately 3/4" in diameter, Not marked for metal content but XRF tests to 12k. Hung on an antique 24" 10k gold curb chain that matches the color of the metal.
Condition: In excellent antique condition with very minimal wear but no disfiguring scratches or chips. The locket opens smoothly and stays safely shut when closed.
