Victorian Enamel Doggo Charm

Originally mounted on a stick pin circa 1895, we repurposed this charming 14k enameled pup as a charm; depending on your viewpoint the portrait is meant to be a Boston Terrier, or perhaps a little French Bulldog ...though I see a hint of Boxer as well.

No matter the breed it's a sweet little face, the ruby eyes twinkling with canine curiosity and affection.

Details: Measuring approximately 5/8" north to south and about 1/2" across the span of the alert little ears. Lightly marked for 14k on the back. A hollow construction with two little holes on the back that were intentional, they allowed heat to escape when the piece was enameled. Approximately 1.3 gram weight.

Condition: In excellent antique condition with some slight wear to the enamel, most notably on the tip of the nose.
