A charming flying owl brooch, circa 1930, crafted in sterling silver with enamel. He's a sweet little bird, in bright blue with wide eyes done in a sunny yellow. The colors suit the graphic quality of the design; it's perfect for accenting a lapel, collar, scarf, clutch or tote bag.
Details: Measuring approximately 7/8" north to south and just over 1" east to west including the tips of the wings. Marked in the back for sterling with the hallmark for the F.A. Hermann Company, manufacturing jewelers out of Melrose Highlands, Mass. from 1908 to 1977.
Condition: In excellent condition with a slight patina and very minimal wear to the enamel. The C-clasp and hinge are in strong working order.
