If you're looking for the perfect antique diamond ring this checks all the boxes. Circa 1895, a classic "belcher" solitaire style crafted in 14k yellow gold featuring one of the most dazzling old mine-cut diamonds I've had the pleasure to meet, with the unique cushion shape, chunky facets and prismatic rainbow-tinged sparkle we love about the OMC (old mine-cut).

The low-profile multi-prong setting makes it a comfortable fit on the hand, easy to wear on a daily basis.

Old mine-cut diamonds have an almost liquid quality to their sparkle. It's hard to describe but the size and shape and energy of its glitter is bigger and warmer than the sharper pace of a modern-cut. After the brilliant cut was fully developed in the early 20th century old mine-cuts fell out of favor, but they've been experiencing a resurgence of popularity in recent years due to their unique character: each stone is one of a kind.
