Victorian Agate Cameo Earrings

Victorian cameo earrings circa 1880, crafted in 14k gold with a light rose tint, featuring beautifully carved black and white agate portraits of the idealized Victorian lady.

Such romanticized figures were popular subjects for jewelry in the late 19th century, and these may be meant to represent the Queen Victoria or another member of the upper echelon with her swagged pearls and diamond tiara.

Details: Each earring measures approximately 1 1/2" north to south from top of the wire to bottom of the drop, and 13/16" at the widest. Not marked for gold content but professionally tested to 14k.

Condition: In excellent condition with a gentle allover antique patina speaking to dignified age. No apparent wear, damage or chipping to the cameos, the details are crisp.
