Victorian Chain Link Motif Bangle in Sterling

A wide Victorian bangle bracelet crafted in sterling silver with a chain link motif across the front, the bold graphic design adds an edge to the sweetness of the richly chased border. Victorian society was famously obsessed with all things symbolic and chain bracelets were often worn to reference the strength and bond of true love.

Details: An oval shape approximately 1 3/8" wide, and 2 1/4" by 1 7/8” across the inside diameter with an interior circumference of approximately 6 3/8". Hallmarked on the inside  for sterling silver with the manufacturing jeweler's name R. Atkins. 

Condition: In excellent condition with a rich antique patina on the outside, and inside but no obvious dents or scratches to mar the surface. Both hinge and clasp are in good working order and the bracelet stays safely shut when clasped.
