Victorian Agate Panel Bracelet
A mid-19th century Victorian bracelet featuring a gorgeous collection of specimen agates in a variety of earthy colors and natural patterns, set as polished cabochon panels in gold bezels.
Traditionally agate signifies loyalty, integrity, strength and a belief in justice or fair play. It's also been a favorite talisman stone for centuries thought to foster a connection to and appreciation for all the elements of Mother Nature.
Details: Measuring approximately 6 3/4" long, and 1" wide. Not marked for gold content but XRF tests to solid 12k yellow gold, weighs 21.4 grams.
Condition: In excellent antique condition with a light patina and very light wear on some of the agates but no chips or deep scratches. One of the link connections has been reinforced with a discreet gold plate, not noticeable when worn. The clasp is in firm working order.
