Pink Peruvian Opal Bead Necklace

When we sourced these Peruvian opal beads the vendor called them "cotton candy opals", and I really think that perfectly decribes them, though I might add "with an edge". A sweet pink color showing natural inclusions and matrix in a custom tire-cut, knotted on pink silk and finished with an over-sized antique sterling silver bolt ring clasp.

Perfect for warmer weather, they have a delicate sparkle against bare skin thanks to the facets along the edges. I'd wear them all year though, that color is a wonderful way to brighten the day.

Details: Measuring approximately 22" long, the beads are slightly graduated from 9 mm to 13 mm. 

Care: Suitable for daily wear. Cleaning with a soft cloth to remove lotion, perfume or make-up residue after wear helps to keep them happy; as with any opals they should not be worn during strenous activity like playing active sports, landscaping, etc.
