Vintage Hidden Locket Signet Ring

An interesting 10k vintage signet ring with a special hidden compartment for a photograph, that swings out on a cleverly designed hinge, then folds back away behind the face. The patent number stamped on the inside of the ring dates the mechanism design to December of 1940.

Details: The smooth shoulders are accented with a deco style acanthus motif and face is plain and could be engraved with initials or a special date. Please message us before purchase if you are interested in the details of our engraving service. Measuring approximately 5/8" north to south with the photo area approximately 1/2" by 1/2", hallmarked for 10k gold. Weighs approximately 7.6 grams.

Size: Currently size 9. We do not recommend resizing.

Condition: In excellent condition with crisp details and a slight vintage patina. The locket compartment swings out easily and stays closed when shut.
