Vintage Afghan Hound Statement Ring

Crafted in heavy solid sterling silver, this circa 1960 statement ring features a large-scale 3-D portrait of an Afghan Hound in a brutalist-style frame. It's quirky and completely wonderful: the handsome canine face is rendered charming with a pert expression and slight tilt of the head.

Details: Marked on the back of the face for sterling. Weighs approximately 24 grams.

Size: Measuring approximately 1 1/8" north to south and 1" east to west across the face. The hand-stippled band has a comfortable 6 mm width by the center back. It hits size 6 on the mandrel and because of the cut-away of the interior face will likely fit that way, even though the ring is wide and heavy.
