Victorian Rose & Yellow Basketweave Locket

A late 19th century Victorian locket crafted in 14k rose and yellow gold in an interesting basketweave design, accented by a delicately embossed texture.

The juxtaposition of color creates a rich look; the smaller scale makes this a perfect everyday keepsake to wear solo or layered with other chains and charms.

It opens and closes with a firm snap and has space for photos or a small keepsake, such as a lock of hair or a baby tooth. Hung from a fine 18" 14k rose gold cable chain.

Details: Approximately 3/4" north to south and east to west, and 3/8" thick. Not marked for gold content but acid tests to 14k, the chain is marked 14k on the clasp end.

Condition: In excellent antique condition, with a gentle patina and some light marks but no obvious dings or scratches.
