Edwardian Filigree Diamond Bar Brooch
I don't use words like stunning often but this Edwardian filigree diamond bar brooch is one of the best examples of its kind that I've ever seen: crafted in platinum set across it's lacy length with a dazzling array of natural old-mine cut diamonds, their brilliance shooting out tiny rainbow flickers in the light. The milgrained sunrays around each stone remind me of tiny eyes, each diamond expertly set in a smooth bezel, the craftsmanship meticulous and perfect.
Impressive on a tuxedo lapel, elegant as a glittering scarf fastener, or fabulous as a sparkling neckline accent.
Details: Measuring approximately 3” long and 10 mm wide (a hair under 3/8”). The diamonds have an estimated 3 ctw, H/I color and VS-1/VS-2 clarity. Stamped and tested for solid platinum. The brooch will come with a full appraisal completed by an independent GIA certified gemologist.
Condition: In excellent condition with crisp details. The lever-back safety catch is in perfect working order.
