Antique Gold Loupe Magnifying Glass
A sleek magnifying glass pendant circa 1920 crafted in 14k yellow gold, originally meant for a gentlemen's watch chain or ladies' chatelaine. Sometimes referred to as a loupe, it provides an enlarged view of whatever you're trying to examine and then folds neatly into it's circular case when not needed.
An elegant way to insure a visual aid is always available, the oversized jump ring can accommodate a cord or chain.
Details: Measuring approximately 1 3/8" in diameter when closed, by 1/4" wide. Marked for 14k on the side of the lens casing, with a number that is likely the manufacturer's catalogue model. Weighs approximately 28.5 grams total.
Condition: In excellent condition with a light patina, no obvious scratches or rubbing to the glass. The mechanism is in smooth working order.
