Victorian Double Sided Glass Window Locket

A large scale mid 19th-century memento locket, with two beveled glass sides and a rose gold-filled frame. It opens with a hinge and is able to accommodate a pressed flower, lock of hair or other flattish memento, that can then be viewed on front and back. 

Details: The locket measures approximately 1 3/4" in diameter, not including the bail which is on a hinge and adds 1/2" north to south.

Condition: In excellent antique condition with light wear to the glass sides but no disfiguring scratches, and slight oxidization and rubbing to the surface of the metal bezel. There are some light nibbles to one glass pane along the edge closest to the frame towards the top of the locket, seen at some angles. The locket opens smoothly and stays safely shut when closed.
