Antique Emerald & Diamond Ring
Circa 1910, an antique ring crafted with the light and airy aesthetic of classic Edwardian design. The navette shaped face is worked in a platinum layer mounted to an 18k yellow gold gallery and shank featuring a glowing-green completely natural Columbian emerald surrounded by a glittering mix of natural old mine cut and old European cut diamonds.
Details: Measuring approximately 7/8" north to south and 5/16" east to west across the face. The emerald is approximately 5.3 mm in diameter, estimated at .56 ct, with no evidence of enhancement. The twin old mine-cut diamonds north and south of the emerald are estimated at .60 ctw, SI2/I1, H/I. The six old European-cut accent diamonds have an approximate .10 ctw, VS2-I1, H/I. Marked "18ct" indicating possible British origins. Weighs approximately 3.7 grams.
The ring will come with a full appraisal from a third party GIA and AGA certified gemologist.

Condition: In excellent wearable condition with light softening of the details and slight abrasion to the tops of the stones, visible with a jeweler's loupe. One of the old mine-cut stones may be a replacement as it has a different style of bezel than its twin. Some light solder oxidization at construction points.
