Antique Old Mine Cut Diamond Clover Ring
An antique ring circa 1900, crafted in 14k yellow gold that has a light rosy tint, featuring four bright old mine-cut diamonds set in a clover motif. I love the way the shoulders evolve into a graceful swirl to form the design, an elegant and graceful little talisman.
A clover was a very popular motif in the Victorian era used as a metaphysical reference to luck, vitality and prosperity.
Details: Measuring approximately 3/8" north to south across the face, with a 2.2 mm width at the center back of the band. Four natural old mine-cut diamonds approximately .12 ctw, SI-1 and H/I color. There is a hallmark on the outside back of the band, indication of European origin, but the image is illegible. XRF tests to solid 14k gold, weigh approximately 2.1 grams.
Size: Currently size 8 1/4 and resizable two full sizes without issue. Please contact us before purchase for details if you are interested in our sizing service.
Condition: In excellent condition with a gentle patina and some light wear but no obvious chips or scratches to the stones.
