Art Nouveau Gold & Diamond Lady Locket
A beautiful antique Art Nouveau locket circa 1905, crafted in 14k gold with a bright old mine-cut diamond accent. The cover features a lovely lady with a classic Gibson girl updo, framed by a gracefully curled question mark, an image meant to be interpreted as a love token message: "I think of you, do you think of me?"
It opens to reveal space for two photos with the original photo holders, though you do need a strong finger nail, and closes with a satisfying snap.
The back skillfully engraved with the monogram initials "M.F.D." Available with a fine 24" 14k curb chain as shown, or solo.
DETAILS: Approximately 1" in diameter. The locket weighs 6.3 grams, the chain 6.9 grams. Acid tested to 14k, the chain is marked for 14k.
CONDITION: In excellent condition with a light antique patina but no obvious marks, dings or scratches.
