Old European Cut Diamond Engagement, 1.48 ct

$8,500.00

The graceful lines of this antique engagement ring circa 1920 create a stunning frame for a 1.48ct old European-cut diamond, graded at VS-2 clarity and L color, with accents of old mine-cut diamonds on the shoulders, approximately .35 ctw. The setting raises the stone slightly in graceful arabesque prongs to best reflect the light, setting off the diamond's dazzling prismatic sparkle.

The central diamond weight is confirmed as we removed it for polishing and had it examined out of the setting; the shoulder diamonds have been estimated for weight.

DETAILS: The setting is crafted in 14k rose gold with white gold shoulders, marked 585 (14k) indicating European manufacture. Measuring approximately 7.94 mm north to south across the face with a rise of about 5.6 mm above the finger when worn. The ring will come with a full appraisal by a third party G.I.A. and AGA certified gemologist.
