Mizpah Engraved Band Dated 1913

$0.00

This product is unavailable

The engraving inside this classic antique wedding band makes it especially sweet: the dedication "E.A.T. to E.L.W. 9-15-13 Mizpah" chased in graceful script. Crafted in solid 14k gold and similar in profile to the modern "comfort fit" with rounded edges that make it easy to wear on a daily basis.

A concept dating back to biblical times, "Mizpah" refers to a prayer requesting God's protection over loved ones, especially those who were separated for a period of time. The exact biblical reference for the benediction is: “The Lord watch between me and thee when we are absent from one from another".

Perfect as a modern choice for a wedding ring or to complement to a collection of interesting bands in a stack.

Details: Measures approximately 4.2 mm wide and 2 mm thick. Weighs approximately 5.8 grams. Marked for 14k on the inside next to the manufacturing jeweler's hallmark.

Size: 7, though it may fit a bit smaller due to the width. Sizing is not recommended.

Condition: In excellent condition with a gentle antique patina attesting to the love its original owner must have had for it, but no thinning or harsh scratches.
