Victorian Agate Cameo Ring
A unique antique cameo ring crafted in 14k rosy-yellow gold, featuring a finely carved agate portrait of a dignified gentleman circa 1870. Cameos were often carved in the 19th century to honor favorite public figures, we believe this one might be of Lord Brougham, a British politician renowned for his wit, oratory skills and a keen fashion sense.
The intricate details and artistically modeled features make this a grand statement and a fine example of the cameo carver's craft.
