History: Old European-cut diamonds are the immediate predecessor to the modern brilliant-cut, developed around the turn of the 20th century, and boast higher crowns, chunky facets, deeper pavilions and open culets. Each stone will have its own unique and individual personality: a warm friendly energy that sets them apart from the uniformly perfect diamonds of today.
