Victorian Silver Flower Locket

Perfect for holding a lock of hair or other memento this statement-sized Victorian pendant locket is crafted in sterling silver, designed as a wreath of flowers, grapes and leaves around a glazed compartment. Each flower has a garnet glass cabochon center, and the frame around the glass is gilded for a lovely contrast effect.

Details: Measuring approximately 2 1/4" long and 1 7/8" wide, with a compartment depth of about 1/4". Not marked for metal content but professionally tests to sterling silver. 

Condition: In excellent antique condition with a gentle patina and a few light marks on the glass but no chips or deep scratches. The gilding is lightly worn but visible on both the glass retaining frame and the back, with light oxidization of the metal.
