Victorian Rose Cut Diamond Studs
Circa 1890, a pair of petite antique rose-cut diamond studs featuring foiled stones with uniquely pretty sparkle and the distinct personality we love about these antique diamond cuts. The 14k yellow gold fluted mounting creates a lovely frame around each stone, perfect for everyday wear.
Details: We believe the diamonds in their settings were originally part of a larger piece, perhaps a brooch, but the earrings came to us in their current form. Measuring approximately 6 mm in diameter across the face of each earring, with a 5 mm rise. The natural rose-cut diamonds have an average 4 mm spread but it's impossible to accurately determine weight as the settings have closed backs.
Condition: In excellent condition with some light wear and oxidization of the foiling.
