Victorian Filigree with Garnet Necklace
Originally an antique Victorian brooch circa 1870, featuring a glittering rhodalite garnet with rich saturated berry-red color. We thought this delicate piece would translate beautifully to necklace form with its graceful filigree and elegant ball drops, so we reinvented it with vintage 14k yellow gold filigree chain.
It's perfect for your fabulous party look, and a lovely choice for the January bride as garnet is that month's traditional birthstone.
Details: Measures approximately 1 5/8" north to south including the drop, and 1 3/8" at the widest. The chain provides an overall 18 1/2" necklace length. The clasp is marked for 14K, the pendant has been acid tested to confim 14k.
Condition: In excellent condition with a light patina and some slight marks on the back where the pin findings were removed, not noticeable when worn.
