A weighty and beautifully made Victorian tassel pendant, crafted in solid 10k yellow gold circa 1870.
The lightly etched leaves and chain link motif crowning the cap echo the texture of the fringe; it's the perfect addition to a collection of pendants for necklace layering, the supple foxtail chains with their little ball ends will shimmy and catch the light with the wearer's movement.
Details: Measuring approximately 2 1/8" long including the oversized jump ring, and 7/16" wide across the cap. Not marked for gold content but professionally acid tests to 10k. Approximately 7.4 grams total weight.
Condition: In excellent condition with a gentle antique patina and a few light marks, but no breaks in the chain or missing finials.
